Chris, I found this animation company that I think you would really like! Also, I am thinking you should send them some illustration samples.
They are making a new film, Lost and Found, based off of the children's book by Oliver Jeffers
I couldn't figure out a way to copy the trailer video, but you can check it out here

Green Eyed Monster - competition
My dear friend Joe sent me a link today for a small design competition. The company, Green Eyed Monster makes and sells earth-friendly tote bags.
Green Eyed Monster quote: "Provides the most unique and socially responsible alternative to disposable paper and plastic bags on the block."
So far not many people have submitted any designs, and the ones that have been submitted... are uh.. well, you can see for yourself.
Here are some of the ideas I played around with.
I tried a few different things before coming up with this one, and decided to keep working off of this theme.
Then I moved onto this, and decided I liked this color scheme better, but it was a little too simple, even for me. After playing around with merging the 2 styles I came up with the following...
Which is final version that I submitted for the contest.
So if you get a chance, log on to Green Eyed Monster and vote for me!
cheers

Book Updates
Hey Guys,
Sorry it's been awhile since I last posted on here. I figured I could post what I've been working on lately, even though it's not strictly just illustration. I have been working on making books lately so I could work on combining text and image.
The look book I was working on transformed into a style/trend catalogue for H&M, but purely in a hypothetical standpoint. *This project is for my own personal use only and will not be reproduced. Here is what I came up with. Feedback is always greatly appreciated =)
Enjoy
Get The Facts About Corn
*this book is also intended only for promotional/personal usage and will not be reproduced
Enjoy!
heart,
k

The Crane Wife (nearly finished)
I know, I know, it's been ages, and it's not that different, but I kinda like where it is. The only other thing I want to do with it is get it printed large and stretched, and them embellish it with real thread and crystals. It's not really finished until I do that, because it's really part of the piece, but it's expensive to get done, and I need to get a bit more money together first. So, here it is, finished at least digitally.
